Acceptable Use Policy
Consent, likeness rights, synthetic media disclosure, prohibited uses, and reporting concerns.
Last updated: 2026-10-24
1. Scope
These rules form part of the Live Face Swap Terms of Service and apply to accounts, uploads, posts, support, and any features made available later. They do not mean that real-time face swapping or desktop output is already available. The service is intended for adults aged 18 or above.
2. Permission before use
Use your own media or obtain the image rights and informed permission needed from the person whose likeness you intend to use. Permission must cover the intended transformation and publication. Public availability, a paid image license, or another user's upload does not by itself establish permission to depict a person in every context.
Do not imply a person's participation, endorsement, words, or actions without authorization. Clearly disclose realistic AI alterations when viewers could mistake them for authentic footage, and follow applicable law and platform labeling rules. A face swap is not a guarantee of anonymity.
3. Prohibited uses
You may not use the service to:
- Deceive people through impersonation, scams, phishing, identity theft, fabricated endorsements, false evidence, or misleading depictions of public-interest or election events.
- Defeat identity verification, know-your-customer checks, age verification, biometric authentication, or liveness detection.
- Create or distribute intimate or sexual imagery without the depicted person's explicit consent, or any sexual exploitation or sexualized depiction of a minor, including synthetic depictions.
- Harass, threaten, blackmail, stalk, expose private information, incite violence or hatred, or otherwise exploit or harm people.
- Violate copyright, likeness, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights, or submit unlawful material.
- Distribute malware, spam, or stolen credentials; access another person's account; disrupt the service; or evade billing, quotas, rate limits, permissions, or security controls.
These restrictions also apply to content submitted through support or posting features. Do not send sensitive face material through general image upload controls.
4. Reporting and review
To report impersonation, unauthorized imagery, a rights violation, or other abuse, email support@fovuno.com. You do not need an account to email us. Include the relevant URL or account identifier, when and where the issue occurred, an explanation, and your relationship to the affected person or work. Send only necessary evidence; do not attach identity documents or redistribute harmful private imagery.
We may request clarification, review relevant account and content records, limit access, or remove violating content where appropriate. We may preserve or disclose information where legally required. Publication of these rules does not mean that automated media moderation, consent verification, or a guaranteed response time is currently implemented.
If you believe a restriction was mistaken, use the same email address to request review and identify the decision. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
